What is the difference between ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 9001:2015?

In 2015 a new edition of ISO 9001 was released, and with it came some changes. A new edition is released every 7 years for ISO 9001 to improve the way organizations adopted the standard and the way it was used to interact with changes within organizations. These changes relate to technology, new procedures, and available software. The newest edition of ISO 9001:2015 was released on the 23rd September 2015, and organizations were given 3 years to transition from ISO 9001:2008 to the newer edition. Those that do not adapt before 23rd September 2018 will no longer be certified.

What are the difference between ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 14001:2015?

The latest version of ISO 14001, ISO 14001:2015 has brought changes to the most widely used standard on Environmental Management Systems (EMS). One of the major changes is its structure. ISO 14001:2015 now has the high-level structure that is now common to all ISO management system standards referred to as Annex SL. This new common structure brings a more strategic focus to the standard and facilitates the integration with other ISO management system standards. In addition to this new structure, there are many differences between ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 14001:2004. Here we will briefly explain the most relevant ones.

It also follows the structure of ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 9001:2015, so that it is easy to integrate these standards in any organization if it has already received the ISO 45001:2018 certification.

What are the difference between HACCP and ISO 22000:2018?

HACCP and ISO 22000 are both food safety standards that any food production or food-handling company can implement. Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) was established in the 1980s, initially instigated by scientists working for the Pillsbury company while ISO 22000 was introduced in 2005. Many companies implement these standards at the same time and these two standards both address food safety hazards and controls. As such, it may be difficult to distinguish between the two; there is however a marked difference

What are the difference between ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000?

In the beginning there was the HACCP. This was followed by GMPs, PRPs and of course ISO 22000, with all the credibility and prominence of an ISO standard. But it seems that this was still not enough. And now we have FSSC 22000, with the much sought-after acknowledgment by GFSI. The food and beverage market is a highly regulated market. This is because consumers’ health is something very serious. It is therefore natural that formal means exist to ensure that the entire food productive process should be free from risks likely to adversely affect consumers’ health.

What are the difference between ISO/TS 16949 and IATF 16949?

In order to deal with the emergence of new challenges and the constant changes in the automotive industry, IATF and ISO agreed to discontinue their ISO/TS 16949 development partnership and introduce a new standard: IATF 16949. But what will change in the transition from ISO/TS 16949 to IATF 16949? How should this transition take place?. IATF 16949 will be implemented in conjunction with, and as a complement to, ISO 9001: 2015. Therefore, IATF 16949 will not be a self-sufficient quality management standard. The goal is to emphasize defect prevention, provide continuous improvement, and reduce waste and disparity in the supply chain. This means that companies seeking IATF 16949 certification must also comply with ISO 9001: 2015 requirements.
